these strings ROCK!!!!! theses are the best strings i have ever tried despite the heavy gauge they are quite easy to press down and they sound great, and hey zakk uses them why shouldnt u?

The strings lost tune much too quickly and had me wanting to replace them within a month of very light usage. I would recommend Elixer brand strings for the average guitar connoisseur. However, if you intend for drop down tuning or you're using them for a short time, I suppose you could get them, but for Pete's sake don't bother.
