The Dunlop Picker's Pal Capo fits curved and flat fingerboards with its unique convertible pressure bar. Centered CAM pressure points ensure even clamping. Changes fret position easily. Can be stored on the peghead when not in use. Can be used as a safety rest for the guitar. High quality material and construction.

I'm a long-time player of many stringed instruments (guitar, mandola, Irish bouzouki, etc.) Some of the fretboards of instruments are flat, while some have a very slight curve to them. This capo can be used with either, because you can simply rotate the rubber "finger" from a flat to a curved edge! While these aren't as quick and convenient as the very popular "clothespin" type of capos (and you can't store them on the head of the guitar), they apply a very even pressure across all of the strings, meaning that each string gets pushed/bent the same amount, keeping things in tune even if you're a few frets up.

I bought this capo for two very specific reasons. One, it's cheep and two, it looks kinda cool. That being said, it wasn't quite as practical as I initially hoped. The major drawback with this little number is it cant be quickly removed. With some necks it not a real problem; you can just slide it back behind the nut. However with others this will be fairly problematic. If your play entire songs with the capo on then this will work fine (if not look elsewhere). Now having said that, the ability to tighten and loosen, as well as selecting how your string will be pushed is pretty nifty. So if you don't want to move the capo allot and like it's barring selection. I would defiantly suggest this to you.
