...And I've tried them all.
Back in the day I was dumping Coricidin in the trash to get an empty bottle like Duane Allman, I've used socket wrenches, hacksawed off pieces of pipe, tried actual necks from wine bottles, and bought slides made out of chrome, ceramic, aluminum, and glass in a variety of shapes.
End of the day, this slide is balanced to be easy to handle, and it makes a wonderful classic sound, whether single notes on an electric, or open tuning on an acoustic.

Excellent slide - I am very happy with it. It slides up as well as down. Stays on the strings (provided you hold it there). But seriously it is a great slide, and its slightly curved shape is really nice.
