what's it made of?,

I bought this here through amazon and the delivery time was good.
I am attempting to teach myself slide guitar and am discouraged by full sized slides and thought that a smaller 'fewer strings' slide would help and i was right. i like being able to deal with just three strings as i learn. the velcro fitting idea is cool. it's easy to twist it out of the way and play.
but i thought it would be a solid piece of steel and I just don't think it is. Maybe I'm wrong and I will accept being told I'm wrong. It just feels like an alloy "steel + something lighter".
Other than that, it does what it says it will do and I'm glad to have it.

I don't Hate it but the sound is not right . Maybe the Metal I don't know . have to trim the velcro also looks in the pic as something that would be Lighter . Have this problem alot with slides if it don't sound right I might as well give it to somebody else . I know its a matter of touch and hand size so i'm not going to trash It , It may work for you .

Does what it's supposed to do,
December 9, 2010 This review is from: Jim Dunlop 229 Dunlop Shy Slide (Electronics)
First off, I don't care what it's made of - it just sounds good. I have big hands - I found this worked best on my pinky finger tip on the higher strings. I had originally hoped to use it on the middle part of my ring finger, but it was a little too small for that. I may also try it on my thumb (per their instruction ideas) - if that works, I may buy a second one to add flexibility to my playing.
