They're much harder to drop than most picks on the market, and they're nylon. For a pick .60 or smaller, I wouldn't consider another material. These picks can potentially last a long time too. In my humble opinion, I'm you're going to get a .60 pick, these are without question the ones to get.

4.0 out of 5 stars Feel thinner than other 0.50mm picks, January 23, 2012

I love Dunlop Max Grip picks. I use .88mm for solo and 1.00mm for bass. .88mm is a little too thick for some of the solo tunes.

A friend gave me a .50 Herco which I like a lot, so I got these .60mm Max Grip picks. But somehow, they feel a little thinner than Herco's .50mm picks.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best!, January 20, 2012

Great picks! I have been playing guitar for 12 years and these are the best picks out there. The thickness is perfect. You can strum good and hard but you don't get that plasticky sound and it doesn't sound like you are beating the tar out of your guitar.

The grippy stuff on them honestly isn't a big deal to me. They make these picks without the grip stuff and I didn't usually have trouble with them slipping out of my hand either.

Also, these will arrive instantly. The seller is AMAZING! If you want to buy more expensive music equipment check out their site musciansfriend.com they have the best prices and usually will get stuff to you in 2-3 days with cheap shipping.
