I bought it for an acoustic guitar.
it's a bit wide. It really should be for classic guitar with nylon strings.
The steal string kinda leave a lasting impression into the silicon rubber.

The trigger style is easy to use and clamp.
Nice product.

Have used this capo for around 6 months with my classical guitar. It is well constructed with a nice black finish and seems very durable. It secures the strings with no buzzing up to the 5th fret (the highest fret I've capoed), but realize that this model is made for a guitar with a flat, not radiused, fretboard. Some newer cross-over classical-looking guitars actually have radiused fretboards, and this capo probably would not work effectively with those. I paid $15.99 for it, but notice there is another Dunlop black classical guitar capo listed for around $1.00 less. Can anyone tell me what the difference is? The pictures look identical, although the other one does not have the designation "88B." The only flaw in the item was a deep scratch in the black finish, probably made during assembly when the strong spring was fitted--Dunlop needs to improve their assemby QC.
