Based off of a coveted vintage tortoiseshell pick in our collection, the Ultex Sharp delivers a pick with a rigid body tapering into a thinner and sculpted tip for intense control and speed. The seamless contoured edge surrounds the pick for more playing surfaces and tones. Engineered of Ultex - the Ultex Sharp is virtually indestructible and delivers a crisp tone and quick release attack.

I have been searching for guitar picks with good grip and a point on them for easier transition between dynamics. These perfectly suit that and they're incredibly durable. I played a whole set the other night with a new pick and it looked the same after the hour-long torture as prior -- every other pick I've ever played with has become worn down after just an hour or two of playing and becomes a pain to play with after a few concerts; these are an absolute exception.
0.90 is perfect for me as I play about half lead and half rhythm guitar for what it's worth.
Highly recommended!!

Ok, picks are a personal preference and somewhat hard to review. I was a long time user of Fender 351 Heavies. When I switched to the Ultex Sharp (.90) my picking speed increased. These picks gave me a brighter attack and better control over picking dynamics. I have been using the same six picks daily for the last nine months, with only the slightest sign of wear. I think I will lose one way before I wear it out. I tried the Clayton Spike prior to these but I didn't like the flat edge they have. The Dunlops have a beveled edge which gives a smoother feel. I recommend at least giving them a try, I'm glad I did
